3 Interesting Covent Garden Attractions

London is one major tourist destination that attracts people from all around the world annually with its cosmopolitan culture, open-minded lifestyle and obsessive atmosphere. There, you will have the opportunity to explore the city and its world famous attractions.

However, before you go there you should know where exactly you want to stay and I advise you to book in advance some of the London city centre hotels in order to avoid long distances between different parts of the city. Covent Garden is a district situated in Central London, within the area between Drury Lane and St Martin's Lane. The place is a former fruit, vegetable and flower market. Now, Covent Garden is a home to many interesting street performances. Also, there are situated some fascinating city's attractions, three of which are:
  1. Charles Dickens' House is located on 1st Chandos Place, Covent Garden, London. In fact, Dickens lived in few different houses situated close to each other in this city's area. However, this house is considered as the place where the comparatively young Dickens was inspired to create many of his narrative works about the period when the city was one dangerous and dirty place.

  2. Cabaret Mechanical Theatre is another Covent Garden attraction which is located in the heart of the district. It is one of the most attractive places in the area and includes one amazing mechanical system which makes puppets and models move along with fabulous series of melodies. This is one unique historic theatre that you must visit during your stay in the city.

  3. The Bridge of Aspiration is one incredible creation placed on Floral Street, Covent Garden. This unbelievable piece of architecture connects the Royal Opera House to the Royal Ballet School and gives the impression to twist through 180 degrees.

So, book in advance some of the hotels near Covent Garden and go visit those interesting attractions.
