A trip to Scotland would not be complete without stopping by a distillery, of course, that is if you are of age and enjoy that delicious drink. While staying in a Dunkeld hotel last summer, I had the chance of a lifetime not only to visit a local distillery to see how whisky was produced, but also the opportunity to speak with some of the most informative individuals on the subject.

No Clubbin' to be Found

Typically, I tend to shy away from the idea of night clubbing. I don't know why I am thinking about this idea, but I think it was the result of staying in one of those amazing Hotel breaks Scotland last weekend. Yet, even in my youth, I often decided to spend my time in small little venues, rather than those with loud music and teens dancing to the wee hours of the morning.

Conquering the Scottish Alps

Hoping to conquer the Scottish Alps, a group of us set out to climb routes that we had never heard of prior to this weekend. Since we were all pretty experienced climbers, we felt confident that we would be able to locate at least a few climbs that would fit our abilities.
